Entry Level Merchandiser

As an Entry Level Merchandiser, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, development, and execution of product merchandise for our company. This includes working closely with the merchandising team to understand product trends and customer preferences, as well as coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, tracking sales data, and analyzing market trends to make recommendations for future product assortments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and development of product merchandise

- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking
- Analyze market trends and sales data to make recommendations for future product assortments
- Work closely with the merchandising team to understand product trends and customer preferences
- Participate in product meetings and provide input on potential new products
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop effective promotions and campaigns
- Assist in setting up displays and visual merchandising in stores
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper placement of products
- Communicate regularly with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on merchandising strategies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience in retail or merchandising preferred but not required

Location: Shan, India (open for other nationalities)
Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Employment type: Contract (possibility for permanent role after 6 months)
Language requirements: Fluent in English (Hindi/Marathi language proficiency a plus)
