Blast Furnace Operator (Contract)

We are currently seeking a skilled Blast Furnace Operator to join our team in Osijek on a contract basis. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will work with a team to operate and maintain the blast furnace equipment, ensuring efficient and safe production of molten iron.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the blast furnace equipment, including charging materials, controlling temperatures, and adjusting settings as necessary
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Monitor production levels and quality of molten iron, making adjustments as needed to meet production targets
- Comply with all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and maximize efficiency

Requirements:
- Experience working in a blast furnace or steel mill environment preferred
- Knowledge of blast furnace operations, machinery, and safety protocols
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with extreme temperatures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Fluent in Malayalam with basic English communication skills
