As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and up-to-date. Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain databases
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop and implement database security policies to protect sensitive data
- Create backup and recovery plans to ensure the integrity of company data
- Collaborate with developers to design efficient database structures for new applications
- Regularly review and optimize database system performance
- Provide technical support to internal teams on database-related issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of SQL and other programming languages used in databases
- Experience with database security protocols and procedures
- Familiarity with data manipulation languages such as PL/SQL or T-SQL
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this position.

Location:
This is a full-time position based in Akron. However, we are open to considering remote work options for exceptional candidates.
