Our busy retail store in Mombasa is seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Scan and process customer purchases accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Maintain accurate cash register balances
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns
- Maintain knowledge of current sales promotions and policies
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must have valid work permit for foreigners or Canadian citizenship for Canadians
