Waiter/Waitress - Nakuru, Kenya



We are in search of a skilled and friendly Waiter/Waitress to join our team at our restaurant in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Waiter/Waitress, your main responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service to our guests and ensure their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. You will work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the restaurant with a warm smile and friendly attitude.
- Escort customers to their tables and present menus.
- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers.
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy.
- Check on customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and report them to management.
- Process payments accurately using our POS system.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting up tables for new guests.
- Assist with restocking supplies as needed.

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Waiter/Waitress or similar role in a restaurant setting preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage with customers in a professional manner.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is an advantage.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have own visa/work permit for Kenya (if applicable).

Salary: $1200/month (negotiable based on experience)
