Carpenter in Plovdiv, Bulgaria
We are in need of an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Your work will involve measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining materials using various tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine materials required and dimensions of structure or fixture to be constructed
- Measure, cut and shape wood or other materials according to specifications using hand or power tools
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings etc.
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using carpentry tools
- Inspect finished product for quality control purposes
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling tools and working on construction sites
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with at least 2 years of work experience
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to measure accurately using carpentry tools such as rulers, squares etc.
- Knowledge of different types of wood materials and their properties
- Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations
- Physical endurance to handle heavy materials
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Flexibility to work on different construction sites within Plovdiv
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training will be an added advantage
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month along with visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.
