Job Title: Cashier - Nakuru, Kenya

We are in search of a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team in Nakuru. In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent math skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with their purchases
- Scan items and process payments using cash registers or POS systems
- Issue receipts and change accurately
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and reconcile at the end of each shift
- Resolve any customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Ensure shelves are stocked and products are displayed attractively
- Keep checkout area clean and organized
- Assist with inventory management as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred
- Excellent math skills with the ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
- Friendly demeanor with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

We offer competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this contract position.
