Foundry Worker

We are a foundry company located in Malindi and we are seeking a skilled Foundry Worker to join our team. As a Foundry Worker, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used to melt, pour, and shape metal into various forms such as castings, molds, or patterns. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a foundry setting and possess strong technical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery such as furnaces, ladles, and power tools to melt, pour, and shape metal
- Monitor temperatures and adjust equipment as needed
- Inspect castings for defects and make necessary repairs
- Prepare molds and patterns for casting
- Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety protocols

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience working in a foundry setting
- Knowledge of different types of metals and alloys used in casting
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Good physical stamina to withstand long periods of standing and lifting heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Additional Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English
- Must have own visa/work permit (if not a Kenyan citizen)
