Head Chef - Indian Cuisine (Muscat)


We are a high-end restaurant located in Muscat, seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our Indian cuisine team. Our restaurant offers a unique dining experience with a focus on traditional Indian flavors and dishes.

As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining our menu, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes. You will also be responsible for managing the kitchen staff and overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian cuisine, with at least 5 years of experience as a Head Chef. You must also have the ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively work with both kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain menu items, ensuring they reflect traditional Indian flavors
- Oversee the preparation of all dishes, ensuring quality and consistency
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Excellent knowledge of traditional Indian flavors and cooking techniques
- Ability to manage a team effectively, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate others
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this position. Other benefits such as accommodation, transportation, and medical insurance will also be provided.
