Job Title: Restaurant Manager
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and profitability. Your main duties will include managing staff, monitoring inventory and expenses, and maintaining quality standards. You will also be in charge of creating and implementing strategies to attract and retain customers. This is a seasonal job located in Khasab, open to all nationalities.
Your responsibilities include:
- Hiring, training, and managing a team of waitstaff, kitchen staff, and other restaurant employees
- Creating schedules and assigning tasks to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
- Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the restaurant
- Handling customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Developing marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Analyzing financial data to identify areas for cost-cutting or revenue increase
- Collaborating with the chef to create new menu items or specials
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role (at least 1 year)
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service standards, and health codes
- Ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Customer-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
