Creative Copywriter

Our growing marketing agency is seeking a highly skilled and creative Copywriter to join our team in Sheduva, Kenya. As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and effective copy for various marketing materials, including websites, social media posts, print ads, and email campaigns. Your writing should engage and captivate our target audience while effectively conveying the message and promoting our clients' products or services.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and ideas for marketing campaigns
- Write clear, persuasive, and engaging copy for various mediums
- Conduct thorough research on clients' products/services and target audience to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of messaging
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure tone, style, grammar, and spelling are consistent with brand guidelines
- Present copy concepts to clients for approval
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Copywriter or similar role
- Excellent writing skills with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work
- Ability to understand the needs of different target audiences and tailor messaging accordingly
- Knowledge of SEO principles is a plus
- Experience in advertising or marketing is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proficiency in English (Kiswahili is a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience)

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Sheduva, Kenya (accommodation provided if needed)
