Mason - Building Restoration Specialist


A reputable building restoration company in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Mason to join our team of experts. As a Mason, you will be responsible for restoring and repairing various types of buildings, including historical and heritage structures. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Perform restoration and repair work on brick, stone, concrete, and other building materials
- Mix and apply various types of mortar and grout
- Repair cracks, chips, and other damages in masonry structures
- Replace damaged or deteriorated bricks, stones, and other materials
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and polish building materials
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on construction sites
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Mason or in a related field
- Knowledge of different types of building materials and their properties
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members

Preferred:
- Experience in building restoration or preservation projects
- Knowledge of historical masonry techniques
- Certification or training in masonry or related field
