Executive Chef at a Luxury Resort in Medina, Saudi Arabia
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury resort in the beautiful city of Medina, Saudi Arabia. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional culinary experiences and a strong background in high-end restaurants or hotels.
As the Executive Chef, you will oversee all aspects of the resort's food operations including menu planning, food preparation, kitchen management, and team leadership. You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of quality and consistency while also staying current with industry trends and incorporating new ideas into our menus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that showcase local flavors and ingredients
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to ensure high levels of efficiency and productivity
- Monitor food production to maintain quality standards and control costs
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events and cater to guest requests
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury setting
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisine, particularly Middle Eastern cuisine
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month as well as accommodation within the resort.
