Radio Technician


We are in need of a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Isa Town. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment used for communication and broadcasting purposes. This is a full-time position that requires technical knowledge and experience in the field of radio technology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair radio equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas, and associated communication systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions to determine the root cause and implement necessary repairs
- Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance on radio equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance performed on radio equipment
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to develop solutions for complex technical problems
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in radio technology and recommend upgrades or modifications as needed

Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Radio Technician or in a similar role
- Knowledge of radio transmission principles, circuitry, components, and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with various types of radio equipment including analog, digital, fixed station, mobile units, etc.
- Ability to read schematics diagrams and use diagnostic tools to identify issues with equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good physical dexterity for handling small components during repairs

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
