Multilingual Interpreter in Clairvaux



As a Multilingual Interpreter in Clairvaux, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services for various clients. You will act as the communication bridge between English speaking individuals and non-English speakers, ensuring clear and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in multiple languages (including English) for various settings such as meetings, conferences, and interviews
- Accurately convey the meaning and tone of spoken words from one language to another
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Familiarize yourself with industry-specific terminology to ensure accurate interpretation
- Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity while interpreting
- Act as a cultural mediator when necessary to facilitate understanding between parties
- Occasionally assist with translation of written documents

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (e.g. Swahili, French, Spanish)
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator preferred
- Excellent communication skills in both languages (verbal and written)
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and ability to adapt accordingly
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately convey tone and meaning of spoken words
- Flexibility to work part-time hours with varying schedules

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month.
