Interpreter/Translator


We are in need of a skilled Interpreter/Translator to join our team in Clairvaux. As an Interpreter/Translator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient communication between English and Egyptian speakers. Your role will involve interpreting conversations, documents, and speeches from one language to the other, ensuring cultural and linguistic accuracy. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Egyptian, as well as a thorough understanding of cultural differences. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment. Candidates with their own visa are preferred, and urgent availability is required.

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation and translation services between English and Egyptian languages
- Attend meetings, conferences, and events to interpret speeches and conversations
- Translate written documents such as contracts, reports, emails, etc.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Conduct research on industry-specific terminology to ensure accuracy in translations
- Collaborate with other interpreters/translators to ensure consistency in language usage
- Act as a cultural liaison between English speaking individuals/companies and Egyptian speaking individuals/companies
- Travel when necessary to provide on-site interpretation services
- Adhere to professional standards of conduct at all times

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and Egyptian languages (spoken and written)
- Proven experience as an interpreter/translator or similar role
- High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication skills in both languages
- Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work varying hours depending on business needs (including weekends)
- Strong knowledge of cultural differences between English speaking countries and Egypt
- Bachelor's degree in linguistics or related field is preferred but not required

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Clairvaux (or remote for qualified candidates)

Employment Type: Contract, with potential for full-time employment

Visa Sponsorship: Candidates with their own visa are preferred, but sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.
