Mine Surveyor

As a Mine Surveyor in Dubrovnik, you will be responsible for conducting accurate surveys of underground mines to determine their size, shape, and position. You will use specialized equipment to collect data and create detailed maps of mine tunnels, shafts, and other structures. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring the stability of mine walls and structures to ensure the safety of workers. This role requires strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in confined spaces. This is a contract position that does not include accommodation. A biometric passport is preferred but not required.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geomatics or related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a Mine Surveyor
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations and GPS receivers
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in confined spaces and underground environments
- Familiarity with mining safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English (Nepali language skills are a plus)
- Flexible schedule to accommodate varying work shifts

Responsibilities:
- Conduct accurate surveys of underground mines using specialized equipment
- Create detailed maps of mine structures including tunnels, shafts, and chambers
- Monitor the stability of mine walls and structures using geotechnical instruments
- Collaborate with other mining professionals to ensure safe working conditions for miners
- Keep accurate records of survey data and prepare reports for management
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while working underground
- Maintain surveying equipment and report any malfunctions or needed repairs

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1600 per month.

This job is located in Dubrovnik.
