Instrument Technician



We are currently hiring an Instrument Technician to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration of various instruments and equipment used in industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission new instruments and control systems according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and control systems to identify root cause and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Perform calibration of instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and calibrations.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to continuously improve processes and optimize performance.

Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Instrumentation or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ability to use various testing equipment such as multimeters, pressure gauges, and temperature sensors.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to think critically and find solutions under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

This is a contract position with a competitive salary of $1000 per month. Non-native English speakers are welcome to apply as English proficiency is not required for this role.
