Instrument Technician


We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Salalah. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves.
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments to ensure their accuracy and functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve any issues with instruments or control systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine the best approach for installation or repairs.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify solutions for complex problems.
- Test new instruments before they are put into use.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed on instruments.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).
- 2+ years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of instrument repair techniques and equipment.
- Familiarity with PLC systems is a plus.
- Good understanding of electrical principles and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Salalah. Candidates from other countries are welcome to apply but must have a valid work permit for Oman.
