Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the office and ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks. This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks such as managing emails, scheduling appointments, and organizing files
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Maintain office supplies and inventory
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members
- Assist in creating and maintaining databases and spreadsheets
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience working in a multicultural environment is an asset
- Canadian nationality preferred
