Survey Technician

We are hiring a Survey Technician to join our team in Zagreb. As a Survey Technician, you will work alongside our surveyors to collect and analyze data for various projects. Your main responsibilities will include setting up and operating surveying equipment, recording accurate measurements, and preparing survey reports. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and strong technical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist surveyors in conducting field surveys using various equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and data collectors
- Set up and maintain surveying equipment including tripods, rods, prisms, and other tools
- Record precise measurements of land features using electronic distance-measuring devices
- Input data into computer programs for analysis and prepare detailed reports for project managers
- Perform basic calculations to determine boundaries, elevations, and other important information
- Ensure accuracy and quality control of collected data by double-checking measurements and making adjustments as needed
- Follow all safety procedures while working on job sites

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Survey Technician or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient with surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors
- Strong computer skills including knowledge of AutoCAD or other drafting software
- Ability to read maps and understand legal descriptions of land boundaries
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail with excellent measurement and mathematical skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical training or certification a plus

Salary: $1700 per month
