Computer Support Specialist

We are hiring a highly skilled and experienced Computer Support Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for computer systems, software, and other related technology. Your main goal will be to ensure the smooth operation of our company's computer systems and enhance overall productivity.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Set up new user accounts and configure access permissions
- Conduct regular maintenance on computer systems to ensure optimal performance
- Train employees on how to use new hardware/software or troubleshoot common issues
- Keep track of all support requests and maintain detailed documentation of solutions provided
- Collaborate with other IT team members to identify areas for improvement in the company's technology infrastructure
- Stay updated with industry best practices and advancements in technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac operating systems, hardware components, and networking fundamentals
- Experience with troubleshooting network connectivity issues using tools such as ping, tracert, etc.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms to non-tech savvy individuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Los Angeles (remote work may be considered)

Employment Type: Contract (with potential for full-time employment)
