Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems administration, including experience with networking, server administration, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure computer systems, servers, and network equipment
- Monitor system performance to ensure smooth operation
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Manage security measures to protect data and systems
- Maintain backup and recovery plans for data protection
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex issues
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies in the field of network administration

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in network administration or a related field
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
- Experience with Windows/Linux server administration
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies for data protection
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues quickly

Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as CCNA or MCSA/MCSE.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
