Office Assistant - Nakuru, Kenya
As an Office Assistant at our busy office in Nakuru, Kenya, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our daily operations. You will be responsible for various administrative and clerical tasks, providing support to our team and maintaining a professional working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors to the office, answering inquiries and directing them to appropriate staff members
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner
- Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-stocked and maintained
- Coordinate appointments and schedule meetings for staff members
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring all documents are properly labeled and stored
- Assist with data entry and record keeping tasks as needed
- Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, mailing, etc.
- Support other departments with administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with colleagues and clients
- Indian nationality preferred but not required
- No prior experience necessary - we are willing to train the right candidate
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team
Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1800 per month.
