Sales Manager - Nakuru, Kenya
We are hiring a Sales Manager to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to meet company objectives. You will also be in charge of managing a team of sales representatives and ensuring they meet their targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase company revenue
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends
- Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with potential clients
- Manage a team of sales representatives and provide training and mentorship
- Set sales targets for the team and track their progress
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment of strategies
- Prepare sales reports and present them to senior management
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and address any issues or concerns
- Attend industry events and conferences to network with potential clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the same industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of market research techniques and data analysis methods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to travel for business purposes
Benefits:
