We are a leading retail company in Eldoret, Kenya and we are currently seeking an experienced Indian Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing displays and arranging products in an attractive manner to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement merchandising strategies to achieve sales targets
- Create eye-catching displays that showcase our products and promotions
- Ensure that all products are correctly priced and labeled
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers for restocking
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns
- Train store staff on visual merchandising techniques
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competition

Requirements:
- Must be of Indian nationality with valid work permit or visa sponsorship provided by the company
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Merchandiser in a retail setting
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of local language is a plus)
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and techniques
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of inventory management systems is preferred
