Slinger - Construction Equipment Operator


A reputable construction company in Eldoret is seeking a skilled Slinger to join our team. As a Slinger, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various construction equipment, such as cranes, forklifts, and hoists. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials on the construction site.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various construction equipment, including cranes, forklifts, and hoists
- Inspect equipment before use and report any issues or malfunctions
- Ensure safe and efficient movement of materials on the construction site
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate with team members to coordinate movements of materials
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed

Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of experience operating construction equipment
- Valid certification to operate cranes, forklifts, or hoists preferred
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and practices in a construction environment
- Excellent coordination skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members from different backgrounds

Salary:
