Welding Technician

We are in need of a Welding Technician to join our team in Malindi. As a Welding Technician, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to specifications and safety standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining welding equipment and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Perform various types of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and ARC
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and other technical drawings
- Measure and cut metal components to the required specifications
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality control
- Maintain welding equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while working with welding equipment
- Keep a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Welder or Welding Technician is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and ARC
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in measurements
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy materials, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time-management skills
