Housekeeping Supervisor

We are in search of a professional and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and manage the housekeeping staff at our luxury resort in Malindi. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cleaning and sanitation standards, as well as excellent organizational and leadership skills. They will be responsible for ensuring all guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Train, supervise, and schedule housekeeping staff
- Ensure all rooms and common areas are cleaned and maintained to company standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively
- Create work schedules for staff based on occupancy levels
- Manage budget for housekeeping department
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Proficient in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
