Preservation Architect

We are hiring a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Mauren. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for the preservation and conservation of historic structures and buildings. Your duties will include conducting assessments, creating preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all work is done in accordance with local and national preservation regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting historical research to gain an understanding of the building's history
- Assessing the condition of historic structures and identifying areas that require preservation work
- Creating detailed preservation plans that outline necessary repairs and restoration techniques
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the safe execution of restoration projects
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities
- Monitoring the progress of restoration projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Maintaining accurate records of all preservation work done on historic structures
- Educating clients, stakeholders, and the public about the importance of preserving historic buildings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Preservation Architect
- Extensive knowledge of historical architecture styles, materials, and construction techniques
- Strong understanding of local and national preservation regulations
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
