Entry Level Waiter/Waitress


Our busy restaurant in Mauren is seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Entry Level Waiter/Waitress to join our team. This is the perfect opportunity for a recent graduate or someone seeking their first job in the hospitality industry. As a waiter/waitress, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring they have a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests, take orders and serve food and beverages in a timely manner
- Ensure tables are properly set up with utensils, napkins, and condiments
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and escalate to management if necessary
- Upsell menu items and beverages to increase revenue
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Process payments accurately using our POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables, cleaning spills, and restocking supplies

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; hospitality or related degree preferred
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time-management skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1700 per month.
