Fitter in Shan, India



We are searching for skilled and experienced Fitters to join our team in Shan, India. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical systems and equipment according to engineering blueprints and specifications. Your main goal will be to ensure that all mechanical components are properly fitted and functioning correctly.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials.
- Cut, shape, and smooth materials using hand or power tools.
- Assemble mechanical components such as pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, motors, and compressors.
- Install mechanical systems according to specifications.
- Test installed systems for proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools used in fitting work.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good physical stamina as the job may involve heavy lifting or working in tight spaces.

Preferred:
- Experience working with different types of piping systems (gas, water, steam).
- Familiarity with welding techniques.
