Merchandiser Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Merchandiser Assistant to join our team in Nizwa, Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the merchandiser in planning, coordinating, and executing product displays and promotions in our retail stores.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the merchandiser in creating and implementing effective product displays in stores.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends and preferences.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies for new products.
- Ensure that store displays are visually appealing and well-maintained.
- Help with setting up and taking down seasonal displays.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding products and promotions.
- Communicate any issues or concerns to the merchandiser.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business administration or marketing is preferred.
- Proven experience as a merchandiser assistant or similar role.
- Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques and principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.

Location:
This job is located in Nizwa, Oman.

Nationality Preference:
Preference will be given to Indian candidates.

Language Requirement:
Fluency in English is not required for this position. However, proficiency in basic English would be beneficial.

Work Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. Own visa holders are preferred. This is an urgent job opening so immediate availability is required.
