Plasterboard Worker
We are hiring a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Beer-Sheva. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. Your role will involve measuring and cutting plasterboard to fit specific areas, applying tape and joint compound, and sanding and smoothing the surface for a professional finish.
Key Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Plasterboard Worker
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow instructions
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials
- Familiarity with various tools such as saws, drills, and sanders
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas
- Install plasterboard on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- Apply tape and joint compound to seal joints between boards
- Smooth out imperfections using sanders or hand tools
- Repair damaged or uneven surfaces by replacing or patching plasterboards
- Work with other tradesmen such as painters or electricians to ensure project completion
- Follow safety procedures at all times while working on job sites
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Trade school certification in drywall installation is a plus
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation is preferred
- Must have own basic tools (e.g. hammer, tape measure)
