Job Title: Land Surveyor


We are a leading land surveying company based in Washington, seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys and providing accurate measurements and data for various construction, engineering, and development projects.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying
- Strong knowledge of surveying equipment and tools
- Proficiency in using CAD software for data analysis and mapping
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, and legal documents
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys to determine boundaries, elevations, contours, and other topographical features
- Use various surveying tools such as GPS systems, total stations, and levels to collect accurate data
- Analyze survey data using CAD software to create maps, charts, and reports
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate placement of structures on the site
- Review legal documents such as deeds, plats, easements, and rights-of-way to ensure compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate records of survey data and prepare reports for clients
- Adhere to safety procedures while working on construction sites
