IT Manager for Biometric Passport System Implementation in Las Vegas

We are hiring an experienced IT Manager to oversee the implementation of a biometric passport system in Las Vegas. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a detailed project plan for the biometric passport system implementation
- Manage the project budget and ensure that all expenses are within budget
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of hardware and software components
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure their needs are met
- Conduct regular status meetings with the project team to track progress and address any issues or concerns
- Ensure that all technical aspects of the project are properly tested and documented
- Provide training to end-users on how to use the biometric passport system effectively
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during or after implementation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in IT project management, preferably with experience in implementing biometric systems
- Strong knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
- Experience working with vendors and managing vendor relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary: 1800$ per month

Location: Las Vegas (preference for local candidates but open to relocation)
