We are hiring a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our construction team in Akron. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard on walls and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in carpentry or construction and possess strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas
- Install plasterboard using nails, screws, or adhesive
- Repair damaged or uneven walls and ceilings with plasterboard
- Smooth out joints and seams between plasterboards
- Apply tape, sealant, and finishing compounds to create a smooth surface
- Sand down surfaces to ensure a smooth finish
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in carpentry or construction work
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to the installation of plasterboard
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
- Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, drills, etc.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per week for this full-time position.
