Plasterboard Worker



We are currently seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Akron. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard on various construction projects. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas
- Install plasterboard onto walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- Secure plasterboard with screws or adhesive
- Fill joints, holes, and cracks with joint compound
- Smooth out and level compound using trowels or other tools
- Sand down dried compound to achieve a smooth finish
- Apply tape over joints to reinforce strength
- Repair damaged or uneven surfaces before installing plasterboard
- Follow safety regulations and use protective equipment when necessary

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Proven experience working as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of plasterboard and their uses
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in installation and finishing processes
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and precision in completing tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours
