Indian Pastry Chef in Akron, OH

We are seeking an experienced Indian Pastry Chef to join our team at a popular bakery in Akron, OH. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing various Indian-inspired pastries and desserts. You must have a strong understanding of Indian cuisine and be able to incorporate traditional flavors and techniques into your creations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new and unique Indian-inspired pastries and desserts
- Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and toppings for pastries
- Bake, fry, or cook pastries according to established recipes
- Decorate pastries with creative designs and toppings
- Ensure all food safety standards are met while preparing and storing pastries
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies needed for pastry production
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on pastry preparation techniques

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef in an Indian restaurant or bakery setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and traditional pastry techniques
- Ability to create visually appealing desserts
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays

Salary: $1700 per month
