A reputable retail store in Hawalli is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and previous experience in a similar role. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and debit card payments, and providing exceptional customer service. This is an entry-level position with training provided.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with their purchases
- Process transactions accurately using an electronic cash register
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and daily sales
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Keep the checkout area clean and well-stocked
- Assist with stocking shelves and inventory management as needed
- Follow all store policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Must be reliable, honest, and able to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Basic math skills for counting money accurately
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds
