Job Title: Caregiver (African/Nepali Communities)
We are seeking caring individuals to join our team as Caregivers for our African or Nepali clients in Los Angeles. As a Caregiver, you will provide support to individuals who need assistance with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, errands, light housekeeping, etc. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Administer medications and document care as directed by a Registered Nurse or physician
- Accompany clients to appointments and run errands as needed
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients
- Keep accurate records of client care and report any changes or concerns to supervisor
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
Requirements:
- Experience working as a caregiver or similar role preferred but not required
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must have valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance (if providing transportation for clients)
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
