Part-Time Librarian in Lusail, Qatar


We are currently seeking a Part-Time Librarian to join our team at the Lusail Public Library in Qatar. As a Pakistani national, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the library's diverse collection and provide exceptional customer service to our patrons.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with locating materials and using library resources
- Organize and maintain library materials according to classification systems
- Create engaging displays and programs that promote literacy and love for reading
- Process new materials and manage circulation of items
- Provide reference services and assist with research inquiries
- Support library events and activities as needed

Requirements:
- Pakistani nationality with valid residence permit in Qatar
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Library Science preferred
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Previous experience working in a library or customer service role is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Schedule:
This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week. Weekend availability is required.

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1700$ per month, with potential for growth based on performance.

Location:
This position is located in Lusail, Qatar. Accommodation will not be provided.
