CNC Machine Operator



We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in Nakuru! As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machine setup and production requirements
- Set up machines according to specifications, including selecting appropriate tools, setting speeds and feeds, and making necessary adjustments
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met and make any necessary adjustments
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to perform quality checks on finished products
- Troubleshoot any issues with the machine or production process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in machining preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and measurement tools
- Proficiency in programming software for CNC machines is a plus (e.g. Mastercam)
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect defects or errors in finished products
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues with machines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 lbs
