Carpenter - Malindi, Kenya
As a carpenter in Malindi, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures such as cabinets, shelves, doors, and furniture. Your main duties will include reading blueprints and technical drawings to determine carpentry requirements, selecting materials and measuring and marking them for cutting or shaping. You will also be required to install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim according to specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing damaged frameworks or other structures.
To excel in this role, you should have experience working with a variety of hand and power tools, as well as good knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods. Attention to detail is crucial in this role as precision is required for accurate measurements and cutting. Good communication skills are also important as you may need to collaborate with other team members.
