Instrument Technician
As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and equipment used in industrial processes. Your main duties will include troubleshooting technical issues, conducting regular inspections and tests, and keeping detailed records of all maintenance activities. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You must also have strong communication skills in order to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients. This position offers a salary of $1100 per month and is located in Sharjah. Nepali nationals are preferred for this role, but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair various types of instruments and equipment used in industrial processes
- Troubleshoot technical issues with instrumentation systems
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure proper functioning of instruments
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to identify and solve technical problems
- Assist in the development of maintenance schedules for equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Instrument Technician or in a similar role preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation systems and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Good communication skills in English (Nepali language skills a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit for lifting heavy equipment if necessary
