Moderator for Online Community in Alta, Norway



As a Moderator for our growing online community in Alta, Norway, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and engaging environment for our members. Your main responsibility will be to monitor and moderate user-generated content on various platforms, such as forums, chat rooms, and social media.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve user-generated content according to our community guidelines and policies
- Respond promptly and professionally to user inquiries, comments, and concerns
- Identify and address any inappropriate or offensive content or behavior
- Collaborate with the community management team to develop strategies for increasing engagement and retention of members
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in online communities and social media platforms
- Assist with organizing virtual events and contests to promote community interaction
- Provide regular reports on community activity, including any issues or concerns that arise

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Moderator or similar role in an online community or social media platform
- Strong understanding of different online communication channels and their specificities (forums, chat rooms, social media)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle conflicts effectively while maintaining a positive attitude
- Familiarity with community management software is a plus
- Fluent in Norwegian (written and spoken)
- Experience living in Alta is preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this full-time position.

Note: Please note that this position does not include accommodation. Candidates must have their own housing arrangements in Alta.
