Collections Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team in Mombasa. This is a contract position, with the potential for permanent employment. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for contacting and negotiating with customers to collect outstanding debts. Strong communication skills and proficiency in English are required for this role. Indian nationality is preferred, but all applicants are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to collect outstanding debts
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers
- Document all collection activities and update customer records
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Work closely with other teams to resolve any billing or payment issues

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous experience in collections or customer service preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to negotiate effectively and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Must have a biometric passport and be legally eligible to work in Mombasa

Salary:
Salary for this position is 1800$ per month.
