Cruise Line Food and Beverage Manager


We are in need of a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team on a cruise line based in Al-Rayyan. As part of the onboard management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations, ensuring high quality service and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all food and beverage operations including dining rooms, bars, lounges, and room service
- Develop and maintain menus, ensuring a variety of options to cater to different tastes and dietary restrictions
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost control for all food and beverage items
- Train, mentor, schedule, and supervise staff to ensure exceptional service delivery
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with other department heads to plan special events or promotions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in food and beverage management on a cruise line or high-end hotel/resort
- Knowledge of international cuisine and wine pairings
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of $1500 per month along with accommodation on board the cruise line.

Location:
This position is based in Al-Rayyan but requires frequent travel as our cruise line operates globally.

Preference:
Preference will be given to candidates who are Indian nationals with experience working on a cruise line.
