Surveyor Assistant
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Surveyor Assistant in Lusail, Qatar. In this role, you will assist our professional surveyors in conducting surveys and collecting data for various construction projects. This is a contract position, perfect for students or individuals looking for hands-on experience in the surveying field. No previous experience is required, but basic math and technical skills are a plus. This position does not include accommodation, so candidates must be able to arrange their own living arrangements.

Responsibilities:
- Assist surveyors in setting up equipment and tools for surveys
- Take accurate measurements using various tools such as GPS, total station, and laser level
- Record data and observations during surveys
- Help with the preparation of survey reports and drawings
- Perform basic maintenance on surveying equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills and ability to use technical tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good physical fitness due to the nature of the job (standing, walking, carrying equipment)
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent English skills preferred but not required

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1600 per month.

This job is located in Lusail, Qatar.

Preference:
This job is open to all nationalities but preference will be given to Kenyan candidates.
