Junior Merchandiser


We are in search of a Junior Merchandiser to join our team in Muharraq, Bahrain. As a Junior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for assisting the senior merchandisers in managing the buying and selling of products for our company. This is a contract position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior merchandisers in planning and coordinating product ranges
- Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities
- Communicate with suppliers and negotiate prices and delivery times
- Collaborate with visual merchandisers to create appealing displays for products
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and preferences
- Help develop marketing strategies to promote products effectively
- Attend trade shows and visit suppliers to source new products
- Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a merchandiser or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data effectively
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with inventory management software
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field is preferred
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
